Lilly Pilly Big Red 200MM

Syzygium australe 'Big Red'

I am Lilly Pilly Big Red. My family originated from Eastern Australia.

Habit Shrub

Plant family Myrtaceae

I am an outstanding medium growing Lilly Pilly featuring large, glossy leaves with my new growthone of the darkest crimson foliages available. I respond particularly well to being clipped making me an excellent choice for formal hedges and topiary. White flowers borne over summer are followed by edible berries attracting native birds. Regularly clipped I am very tidy making me a good choice near pools and along driveways. Hardy I tolerate dry conditions.

I am popular and will make you happy because...

My upright form and glossy dense foliage suits me to hedging and screening

I produce white flowers in summer followed by edible berries

My flowers and fruit attract birds and other wildlife to the garden
