Viburnum 'Awabuki' 180MM

Viburnum odoratissimum 'Awabuki'

I am Viburnum 'Awabuki'. My family originated from East Asia.

Habit Shrub - Can be kept narrow

Plant family Adoxaceae

I am a fast growing medium shrub with large glossy dark green leaves and beautiful large clusters of tiny white fragrant flowers borne in spring. My blooms are followed by red berries in summer. My dense habit lends it to hedging and screening. I respond well to pruning making it a good choice for formal hedging and topiary. Hardy I am a good choice for wind breaks and exposed locations.

I am popular and will make you happy because...

My beautiful glossy foliage makes me a great plant for screening and hedging

I am a hardy plant that tolerates exposed locations and frost

I produce large perfumed heads of cream flowers in spring which are followed by red berries
