Native Violet 140MM

Viola hederacea

I am Native Violet. My family originated from Australia.

Habit Groundcover - Delicate Flowers
Plant family Violaceae
I am a spreading native ground cover violet with delicate white and mauve flowers year round but my blooming is more prolific in the warmer months. My dense habit makes me ideal in pots and hanging baskets either alone or in combination with other plants. I also work well in the garden, around rockeries and as an under planting. I thrive in shady locations and will cope with light foot traffic such as between pavers. My flowers are edible and a great way to add colour to a salad.
I am popular and will make you happy because...
I thrive in shade making me an ideal groundcover under trees and shrubs
I produce dainty pale mauve and white blooms year round
Consider growing me in a hanging basket or container
