Limelight Bower Wattle 200MM

Acacia cognata 'Limelight'

I am Limelight Bower Wattle. My family originated from Eastern Australia.

Habit Shrub - Easy Care & Low Maintenance

Plant family Fabaceae

I am a beautiful and hardy weeping large shrub with gorgeous dense lime green foliage with hints of red in the leaf tips. I am widely considered the original and the best dwarf Acacia cognata. My attractive lush foliage and compact habit makes me a great addition to any garden, rockery, container and I work well in large scale landscape design. I look fantastic all year with my lime green foliage creating beautiful contrast. Fast growing I make a great screening hedge or wind break plant. Plant me in a row at 60cm centres to create a low and zero maintenance hedge. I have great natural form and generally do not need pruning howerver I can be cut back hard if I grow larger than desired. I tolerate a range of soil types including heavy clay.

I am popular and will make you happy because...

I make a very good low hedge - just plant a row of me and I will do the rest

Fast growing I am hardy & adaptable I am just as happy garden planted or in a pot or large planter

I am low maintenance well suited to small garden areas & ideal in native & exotic style gardens
