Lilly Pilly Forest Flame 140MM

Acmena smithii 'Forest Flame'

I am Lilly Pilly Forest Flame. My family originated from Eastern Australia.

Habit Shrub - Can be kept narrow

Plant family Myrtaceae

I am a fast growing compact, psyllid resistant Lilly Pilly with an upright habit well suited for a low hedge. My intense crimson new foliage is a feature. My fluffy white flowers in spring are followed by purple berries. Both my flowers and berries attract native wildlife. I am a fire retardant plant.

I am popular and will make you happy because...

Fast growing with a bushy habit I am a great screening plant and I retard fire

I produce white flowers during summer which are followed by dark red berries

I have intense deep crimson glossy new foliage which is a great way to create contrast in the garden
