I am Canna Lily. My family originated from Central America.

I am a range of plants with dramatic, multi-hued tropical foliage in the form of large banana like leaves. My large and showy flowers come in a range of bright hues often in reds and yellows. I bloom from summer to late autumn. My leaves are often brightly coloured providing a vibrant display even when I am not in bloom. I have many hybrids and cultivars. I am a great way to add a tropical feel to any garden space. I can also be grown in pots and am an excellent way to brighten patios and courtyards. My starchy roots are edible.
