General Description
I am characterised by large leathery green leaves rising from a semi exposed root and pink flowers borne in clusters on upright stems from spring into summer.

Being tolerant of shade, including heavy shade I am a good choice under trees or where light is limited.

My common name “Pigsqueak” comes from the sound made when you rub my leaves together.

Hardy I will cope well with poor soils and require minimal maintenance to look my best.

Plant family: Saxifragaceae
Other names: Pigsqueak, Elephant-Eared Saxifrage
